My name is Abigail Johnson, and I’m a tennis commentator, broadcaster and journalist from England. I currently commentate on WTA tennis matches broadcast on WTA TV, BT Sport and more, and appear on the radio regularly to talk tennis. I worked for LiveTennis from mid 2015 through to late 2016, and my written work has also been seen at Sports Illustrated, ITF Tennis, The Changeover and other websites. I also have a YouTube channel: The Tennis Vlog.

In 2016 I got fed up of middle-of-the-road tennis journalism, so I made The Tennis Journal: a website free from dictated content and attempts to please every party. You can guarantee that there will be no shying away from real opinions here.
